On June 4, 2008, Lou and Linda Stellato attended the John C. MacLean Awards night at Lyndhurst High School.  This annual event acknowledges the achievements of the high school's seniors in many categories.  Stellato Funeral Home sponsored an essay contest ''How My Family Affects Me'' along with the Order of the Golden Rule, a National Funeral Service Organization.  LHS Senior, Natalie Fencik, was awarded honorable mention, nationwide for her essay.  The Stellatos awarded Natalie with a framed certificate and a $500 bond for her winning essay.
