Funeral Service Options
Stellato Funeral Homes provide personalized services to meet the special needs of each family member as they celebrate a life that has been lived. Although not a complete list, the following will provide an example of the wide range of services available:
This includes viewing hours of your choice at the funeral home for a gathering of family and friends with the body present. This would be followed the next day by services at the funeral home or in a church, then going to the cemetery for a committal service at a graveside or in a mausoleum.
Traditional Funeral with a cremation
This service includes a viewing with the body present at a time selected by the family. Either on the same day or the next day services may be held in the funeral home or at a church. Following the service a public committal service can take place at the crematory's chapel or the family can choose to have a private cremation.
A graveside service occurs at a cemetery. This is a gathering of family and friends at a grave, mausoleum, niche, or columbarium where services are held with the casket or urn prior to burial or entombment.
Immediate Cremation or Burial
This is an immediate disposition of the body whether burial or cremation. There are no formal services with this option. The decedent would be transferred directly to the crematory or family plot by the funeral director.
This is a gathering of friends and family for a service without a body present and possibly an urn. The specifics may be geared to a family’s specific desires. It can be held at the funeral home, church, or location of the family's choosing.
At Stellato Funeral Homes we encourage families to create personalized services. It is important to acknowledge that life that has been lived and to offer to the community a way in which to celebrate that life. By offering services and special memorialization, a unique life can be remembered and honored in an individualized way that is comforting to family and friends.
