Enrico Beneduce

Enrico Beneduce, 101, born January 9, 1921, in Giuliopoli, Provinciadi Chieti, entered into eternal rest, January 10, 2022.

He is predeceased by his loving wife, Delia. Enrico was blessed with a beautiful family, 3 children, Angelo, Luciano and Linda, and their spouses, Nancy, Cathi and Anthony. Grandfather to Michele, Jennifer, Lisa, Lori, Nicole, Anthony 17 great-grandchildren Jack, Nicolas, Michael, Dorian, Sabrina, Emily, Mathew, Madelyn, Jacob, Lucas, Liliana, Lia, Kali, Christopher, Mia, Anthony & James.

Enrico heroically served in the Italian Armys Alpini Corps Specialist Mountain Infantry during WWII and survived being a POW. After returning from war, he married the love of his life, Delia Passarelli. In 1953, Enrico and his family immigrated to Lyndhurst NJ. where he worked hard to achieve his American Dream.

Together with his two sons, Angelo & Luciano, his brother Adriano and nephew Nicolino, Enrico established a successful construction business, Beneduce Contractors who built many homes in Lyndhurst and Bergen County, known for their masonry.

The secret to Enricos longevity was enjoying his family, gardening, winemaking, sausage making as well as his craftsmanship skills tinkering in his shanty and building anything.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 12, 9:00am-12:00pm at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst.

Funeral Mass 12:30pm, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, Lyndhurst.
Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, immediately following.
