Loving father of Eugene "Gene" & his wife Andrea Michaels & Joanne & her husband Dan Kruk. Devoted grandfather of Janell & her husband Stephen, Jason, Laura, & Lindsay. Cherished great-grandfather of Reagan Anne. Mr. Michaels was a postal clerk in Kearny. He is a veteran of the US Navy serving from 1944-1946. Mr. Michaels was a member of the North Arlington Happy Seniors Club, the International Order of Alhambra & VFW Post 2856. Funeral Wednesday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass 10AM Queen of Peace R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Tuesday 5-9PM.
