Kenneth Tarantino

Kenneth Tarantino, 88, of Bayonne, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at Carepoint Hospital on October 15, 2020. He was the devoted son of the late Lillian (Jelm) & Joseph Tarantino. Loving brother to the late Howard and Joseph and surviving brother James. Predeceased by his beloved son Kenneth on 9/11/01. Husband of Theresa (Verni) Tarantino. Longtime companion to Barbara Mitchell and her loving family. Devoted father to Victoria Melone (Thomas). Beloved grandfather to Anthony Melone, Kenny and Jason Tarantino. Survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Ken was a professional tap dancer starting at the age of 4 and appearing in several Broadway plays. He served proudly in the US Army during the Korean War. He was retired from the Hudson County Sheriff's Department. Funeral Service Wednesday 10:30AM at the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C, Bayonne. Interment Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Friends will be received Tueday 4-8PM.
