Loretta Farrell

Loretta (nee Ratchford) Farrell born in Newark N.J. on August 17, 1925 passed away peacefully on June 8,2022. She lived for many years in Belliville,NJ and more recently in Toms River N.J before moving into Sunrise in Fairfield, NJ. She was the Beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Farrell (Newark Fire Department). Loving mother of Arthur (wife Marilyn) Farrell and Janice (husband Fred) Maltino. Cherished grandmother of Kevin Farrell, Patrick Farrell, Katie (Scott) Amundsen, Jacquelyn Maltino and Freddie (Jennifer) Maltino. Adored great grandmother (AKA GG) of Ashley, Stevie, Michael and Jemma. Loretta was a proud member of the Women of Irish Heritage in Spring Lake N.J. and the Womens Club of Silver Ridge North. Additionally, Loretta was a past President of the Womens Auxiliary of VFW Post 1851. Friends will be welcomed and received on Monday June 20, 2022 at the Ippolito - Stellato Funeral Home, located at 7 Two Bridges Road Fairfield N.J. from 4 - 8pm. Funeral Mass for Loretta will be held at St. Thomas More Church in Fairfield N.J. at 9:45am Tuesday June 21st. Interment at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in North Hanover Township N.J. Donations may also be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
