Marie Lucy Vendola (nee Romano), 85, of Lyndhurst, NJ on Thursday, January 10, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Vendola. Loving mother of Valerie & her husband Hank Nichols, Susan & her husband Michael Robe, Stephen & his wife Colleen Vendola, Mary Ann & her husband Dennis Russell, Carol & her husband Louis De Marco, and Joseph & his wife Cindy Vendola. Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Dear sister of Salvatore Romano, Constance Romano, Nicholas Romano and the late Louise Petracca, Rachel Schichtel and Anthony Romano. Mrs. Vendola was a member of Mt. Carmel Rosary Society, Mt. Carmel Seniors and AARP 4866. Funeral Monday at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10 AM Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
