Rose Pompeo (nee DiBartolomeo), 92, of Montville, NJ on Wednesday, January 21, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Louis. Loving mother of Anthony & his wife Arlene. Dear sister of the late Nicola & Anita Napoleone and Felix & Peter DiBartolomeo. Sister-in-law of Sabina DiBartolomeo. Cherished grandmother of Christopher Pompeo, Janine Doncoes and Jennifer Maffucci. Adored great-grandmother of Isabella Pompeo, Christopher Pompeo, Vincent Doncoes, Gabriella Doncoes, Silvio Maffucci and the late Anthony Pompeo. Also survived by former daughter-in-law Sabina DiBartolomeo. Mrs. Pompeo was a seamstress for Lee Clothiers in Newark, NJ. Funeral Saturday at 9am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10am St. Pius X R.C. Church, Montville. Entombment Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm.
