Alfonso V. Messano, 94, of Fairfield, NJ on Monday, January 7, 2008. Beloved husband of Mary A. (nee Hogan). Loving father of Vincent and his wife Arline, & Patricia Sammartino Bedigian. Dear brother of Katherine "Kate" DeRosa. Cherised grandfather of Gary and his wife Renee Messano, & Jennifer Sammartino and her husband Brian Frese. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Mr. Messano was a member of the Pioneers Club of Western Electric and Local #1470 IBEW. Funeral Saturday at 10am at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield NJ. Funeral Mass 11am St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Cremation private. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Donationa may be made to St. Thomas More R.C.
