Alfred "Fred" Cortazzo, 84, of Lyndhurst, NJ on Monday, September 16, 2013. Beloved husband of Mary F. (nee McGarry) Cortazzo. Loving father of Annette & her husband Thomas Finnerty, and Marian & her husband Joseph Tabback. Cherished grandfather of Alexis & her husband Adam, Brianne & her husband Kevin, Shaun & Joseph. Adored great-grandfather of Anne & Thomas. Dear brother of Theresa Ruzzo and JoAnne Zweig. Mr. Cortazzo was a Sheriff's Officer for Bergen County before retiring. Funeral Saturday at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10 AM Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
