Allan Koval

Allan Koval, 77, of Bayonne, NJ passed away on Saturday, September 16th at Bayonne Medical Center of congestive heart failure. Allan was fortunate to have survived for almost two years after suffering sudden cardiac arrest in November of 2021 thanks to the keen awareness of the McCabe Ambulance crew who spotted him on the sidewalk while driving down the boulevard.

Allan enjoyed his many years of service at Interpool of NY as an Internal Security Inspector as well as his after retirement position as groundskeeper at Bayview Cemetery in Jersey City.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Joseph & Veronica (Americk) Kasper, his paternal grandparents, Andrew and Anna (Kenda) Koval and parents Stephen and Margaret (Kasper) Koval. Allan is survived by his sister, Janet Sedlak, nieces Kelly & Michelle Sedlak, nephew Brian Sedlak and his wife, Jennifer, his grand-nephew, Charlie Sedlak and many of his cousins who were his first and lifelong friends.
