Alvin J Young

Young, Alvin J, of West Milford, NJ, formerly of Lyndhurst on October 3, 2005. Beloved husband of Alberta (nee Klevinsky). Loving father of Debbie Till, Janice Brain and Lisa Lee. Dear brother of Marie Bretz, Dolores Rubright, Gloria Slovick and Fae Sausser. Also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Young was born in Frackville, PA. He lived in Lyndhurst for 40 years. He worked as a plumber for Environmental Systems of Lyndhurst for 25 years before retiring in 1976. Mr. Young then went on to work at the San Carlo Restaurant in Lyndhurst and also became a Lyndhurst school crossing guard. Funeral Friday 8:30am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 9:30am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Lyndhurst. Interment 2pm in Christ Church Cemetery, Fountain Springs, PA. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 7-9pm.
