Every morning, he could be found at many local bakeries, Italian delis including Jerry's in Englewood, where he not only shopped but also socialized with friends.
His passion for gardening resulted in a home filled with envy-inducing tomatoes, zucchini flowers, and amazing fig trees. These ingredients were likely found in the many dishes he would make. His delicious meals were enjoyed by many although the clean up after was dreaded.
