Anita O. Karlsson (nee Vena), 84, of Green Brook, NJ on Thursday, February 14, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Edward Karlsson. Loving mother of Edward Karlsson Jr., Barbara Straniero & Susan Wetherell. Dear sister of Camille DeMaio. Cherished grandmother of Alyssa, Tyler, Jillian, Brian & Julie. Mrs. Karlsson was the head bookkeeper for several companies before retiring in 1990. She was involved with the PTA & Girl Scouts in Scotch Plains, the Italian Club & Bowling League in Rossmoor, and was an avid bridge player. She was also active in all of the churches she was a member of. Funeral Monday at 11:30am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
