It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Anthony "Tony" Gennarelli, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who passed peacefully on April 16, 2026, at the age of 69. Born in Paterson, NJ, on February 17, 1957, Anthony spent his life dedicated to his family and his work as the owner of Anthony Gennarelli & Son, LLC, where he not only constructed beautiful homes but also built lasting relationships within the community.

Devoted father of Britney & her husband Rocco Panico and Alexander and his wife Samantha Gennarelli. Cherished grandfather of Lucas, Sophia, and Archie, who were the lights of his life. Dear brother of Joanne Labarbera. Family was everything to Anthony, and he was known for never missing an event and for the beautiful traditions he created, which will continue to live on in the homes of his children.

In addition to his commitment to family, Anthony contributed to the community as a Varsity official for Softball (NJSBUA) and Volleyball (NE2). He was a source of wisdom and warmth, known for his unique "dadisms," quirky phrases that have become cherished staples in his family's vocabulary. He will also be fondly remembered for his generosity, often bringing food everywhere he went, most notably the "Papa T" Bread.

Anthony's spirit and legacy will be honored during a visitation at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 2-5PM. Funeral Mass Monday, 10:30 AM at St. Thomas More Church.

In this time of sorrow, we invite all friends and family to gather in celebration of a remarkable life lived with love, creativity, and laughter. Anthony will be deeply missed, but his legacy will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
