March 27, 1948 — July 31, 2025

Antonio Nicola Primerano, a cherished husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on July 31, 2025, in Holmdel, NJ. Born on March 27, 1948, in the beautiful region of Calabria, Italy to the late Giovanni and Rosa Primerano, Nick brought warmth and passion to every facet of his life, embodying the best of his Italian heritage.

Emigrating from Italy and Argentina to the United States, Nick embraced the spirit of the American Dream. His pursuit of knowledge led him to St. John's University in Queens, New York, where he not only studied English literature and theology but also shone as a multi-talented athlete. Being inducted into the All-American Hall of Fame for football stood as a testament to his hard work and dedication. He was also a remarkable javelin and discus thrower, showcasing his diverse athletic abilities.

Nick was fluent in Italian, Spanish, and English, which served him well as the owner of a successful masonry business. His entrepreneurial spirit was matched only by his willingness to lend a hand, always ready to assist neighbors, family, and friends.

Nick was a devout Catholic who lived his faith and instilled its values in his beloved family. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeralyn Primerano; his children Cristina and her fiancé John Choate, Anthony and his wife Leah, Frankie and his wife Marionela, Nicolo, and Gina Primerano; sisters, Cathy Vocaturo and Carmen Immediate; and brother, Frank Primerano. His legacy also lives on through his adored grandchildren, Scarlett, Keith, and Cecilia Primerano.

A man of many interests, Nick found joy in the simplest of pleasures. Whether he was cooking a delicious meal, playing a round of golf, fishing or hunting with his friends and sons, tending to his garden, or undertaking home improvement projects, his zest for life was infectious. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren, savoring every moment as a priceless gift.

Nick Primerano was the epitome of a faith-filled, handy, and generous soul. His impact on those around him was profound, and his memory will be celebrated by all who had the fortune of knowing this remarkable man. His family takes comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue to guide them, as he watches over them with the same love and kindness he so freely gave in life. He will be missed.
