Abate, Anthony William, 73, of Fairfield, NJ passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015. Beloved husband of Mary Lou (nee Scerbo) Abate. Loving father of Evette & her husband Greg Chebuske, John & his wife Santina Abate and William & his wife Angela Abate. Dear brother of Gaymarie & her husband Robert Hartman. Cherished grandfather of Kristy, Nicholas, Jamie, & Alyssa. Mr. Abate is a veteran of the US Army. Anthony was a Union Iron Worker for Local 11. He was a member of the Custom Knights Car Club. Funeral Service Tuesday 10AM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield, NJ. Interment Restland Memorial Park. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
