Fernandez, Avelina, 78, of Fort Lee, NJ passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017. Loving mother of Alice Grace Fernandez, Sarah J. Fernandez and the late Annalissa Fernandez Alvarez. Dear sister of Gloria Demetillo & Belen Reyes. Cherished grandmother of Eve Alvarez, Chelsea, Drew, Ian, & Matthew Siek, Akira, Nyree & Raisa Rosillo. Also survived by Charlie, Stan, Gil, Carlos & Norman. Ms. Fernandez was an accomplished award winning scientist of CIBA. Avelina was a devoted member of the Church of God in Ridgewood. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10AM from the Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee, NJ. Interment Madonna Cemetery. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 6-9PM.
