Born on November 8, 1933, in Newark, NJ, Bernice was a beacon of light and love to her family and all those who knew her.Bernice was a proud and loving mother to her children Michelle, Mark, and Frank. She held dear the memory of her son Michael and granddaughter Nicole, who predeceased her. Her grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, and Nicholas, were the recipients of her endless love and unforgettable Italian meals, a skill she learned from her mother-in-law and perfected over the years.Bernice had a rich and fulfilling life, filled with a deep love for her family. She had a special fondness for Atlantic City, where she enjoyed many cherished moments with her husband. Their trips to the "Farm" in New York state were also a favorite pastime, allowing her to spend quality time with her children and husband. Bernice worked at Hoffman La Roche, where she had the unique opportunity to speak on the phone with Willie Nelson, a memory she loved to share with a twinkle in her eye. Bernice was a woman of wisdom, who imparted valuable life lessons to her children and grandchildren. Her love for her family was evident in every aspect of her life. She was an example of strength and resilience, navigating the challenges of life with grace and dignity. She was a source of comfort and support for her family, providing guidance with her wise words and unconditional love.She was a woman of many talents, but perhaps her greatest gift was her ability to make everyone feel loved and valued. She was a master in the kitchen, and her delicious Italian meals were a testament to her love for her family.
