Camille Ann DiCamillo Bernardo, passed away on May 29, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on April 24, 1956, in Passaic, New Jersey, she lived a life marked by devotion to her family, kindness to others, and a loving spirit that touched everyone who knew her.

Camille was the beloved wife of Martin Bernardo and the cherished mother of Danine Bernardo-Meloni and David Bernardo. She was a devoted mother-in-law to Marco Meloni and Diana Tenuto Bernardo, and a treasured grandmother to Reese Elizabeth and Isabel Rose Bernardo. She is also survived by her sister Judy Messineo, and was predeceased by her loving parents, Nicholas and Rose DiCamillo, as well as her sister, Carole DiCamillo Villanova.

Before dedicating herself fully to raising her children, Camille worked as a dental hygienist. She later became an early childhood educator finding great fulfillment in caring for children and being part of a community that reflected her nurturing heart.

Camille found joy in the simple and meaningful things that made life beautiful. Her happiest moments were simple ones: a home-cooked meal that pulled everyone to the table, a day at the shore with Marty on his boat, and cheering on Reese and Isabel at every game and recital. Her grandchildren were among her greatest joys, and she treasured every moment spent with them. She held a special affection for her fur baby, Brody, who brought her companionship and happiness.

Camille delighted in watching her family grow and in celebrating the milestones of those she loved. She was a constant source of encouragement, affection, and strength. Camille was pure love - she will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

The family requests any donations be made to The Community School in Nutley in her name.
