Ascensao Age:70Died June 8, 2003 at his residence in Fairfield, NJ - Born in Murtosa, Portugal, Mr. Ascensao was a resident of Fairfield for the past 7yrs, prior to the he lived in Kearny for most of his life. He was self-employed as a general contractor from 1970 to 1990. He alsp worked briefly for Otis Elevator, Harrison. The last 10 yrs years he was employed as a surveyor for Foriegn Auto Preparation Services, Port Newark, NJ. Parishoneer of St. Thomas More RC Churcn in Fairfield. Survived by his wife Lorraine(nee Mattos) a son David of Kearny, a daughter Donna Malet of Fairfield, one brother Jack of Montville, a sister Maria Paiva of Clifford Beach, NJ Also Surviving are 3 Grandchildren Daniel & Nicholas Malet & Carlos Ascensao.Visiting Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday 10AM at St.Thomas More RC Church Fairfield.Cremation to follow.
