Cathryn M. DellaValle

Cathryn M. DellaValle, known affectionately as Cathy, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on November 25, 1960, in Jersey City, NJ to Micheal and Mary (nee Martin) Cronin, Cathy was a lifelong resident of Lyndhurst, where she dedicated her life to nurturing others, both as a mother and in her professions.

Cathy worked as a dental hygienist before turning her passion for caring into a rewarding role as a teacher's aide at Rainbow Academy. She touched the lives of many young children, offering kindness, support, and encouragement, and she was often seen as a beacon of light in their formative years.

A devoted mother, Cathy is survived by her three beloved children: Anthony, Thomas, and Kristen. She poured her heart into her family, creating a warm and loving home filled with laughter and cherished memories. Cathy is also survived by her dear siblings: Mark, Cheryl, and Michael. Her legacy will continue through her cherished nieces and nephews, Ryan, Matthew, Mariella, and Daniella, and her beloved grand nieces and nephew, Autumn, Delaney, Tara, and Liam.

Cathy was a true lover of life and animals. She spent countless joyful summers at the Jersey Shore, alongside her beloved dogs, Purdy and Roxy, who were her constant companions and sources of joy. Her passion for animals reflected her generous spirit and caring nature.

Cathy's warmth, compassion, and love for those around her will be deeply missed. In her memory, let us continue to embrace joy, kindness, and the beauty of life, just as she did.
