Cicek Cirkinyan

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cicek Cirkinyan, aged 88, who peacefully departed from this life on February 8, 2026. Born on October 1, 1937, in Istanbul, Turkey, Cicek lived a life marked by her unwavering spirit and generosity.

Cicek moved to the United States, initially settling in Pennsauken, New Jersey, before making her home in Cliffside Park, where she resided for the remainder of her life. Over the years, she became well known as a talented seamstress, contributing her skills to the clothing industry. However, it was her passion for cooking and baking that truly defined her. Cicek lovingly baked for family and friends, often hosting gatherings filled with warmth, laughter, and delightful meals.

Cicek was preceded in death by her husband, "Mike" Manuk Cirkinyan.

She is survived by her beloved sons, Danny Cirkinyan & his wife, Stella, and Gary Cirkinyan & his wife Elaine; her cherished sister, Filor; as well as her adored grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexa. Cicek's profound love for her family will remain an enduring legacy.

Funeral Friday 11AM Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Ridgefield. Interment, to follow, Fairview Cemetery, Fairview. Following the services, a repast will be held at Mado Restaurant, 570 Kinderkamack Rd, River Edge.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in Cicek's memory.

Cicek Cirkinyan will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
