It is with deep sadness and profound respect that we announce the passing of Jerry "Ciro" W. Lombardi, aged 94, who departed this life on August 31, 2025, in his beloved Lyndhurst, New Jersey, where he was born on December 23, 1930. Jerry was a lifelong resident of Lyndhurst and was known for his unwavering commitment to his family, community, and profession.

Jerry devoted many years to the plumbing and heating industry, working as a plumber for Jerry Lombardi Plumbing & Heating. He held a license (#269) with the National League of Plumbers and served as the plumbing inspector for Lyndhurst during the 1970s. Jerry's expertise and dedication to his craft earned him the respect and admiration of his peers and the community.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jerry was an avid member of the MAKO fishing club, IACL of Lyndhurst, and the Lincoln Continental Club. He proudly served on the Board of Trustees for Sunset Manor for an impressive 64 years, demonstrating his commitment to local service and leadership. A passionate gardener, he found joy in cultivating his beloved tomato plants and basil. Jerry was also an enthusiastic vintage gun owner and an avid stainglass maker, reflecting his appreciation for history and craftsmanship.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Ciro & Louisella Lombardi, and his daughter, Geraldine, and his son-in-law, Robert.

Jerry is survived by his devoted wife, Eleanor Lombardi; his beloved daughter, Christine Remo and her husband Kenneth; and his cherished grandchildren, Gina Facchin, Marilyn Remo, and Eric Remo. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at the same location on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM, followed by burial at Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lyndhurst Police Emergency Squad, honoring Jerry's legacy of service to the community.

Jerry "Ciro" W. Lombardi will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his community involvement, and the many lives he touched during his long and fulfilling life. He leaves behind a legacy of love and service that will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.
