Claire R. Piazza

Claire R Piazza, 89 of Ringwood NJ passed away on Saturday September 16, 2023. She was born and raised in New Brunswick NJ, and attended St Peters High School. She later moved to North Brunswick, was divorced and raised her children there.

Claire was President of the North Brunswick Little League Association and received an award for her dedication and work with them. She was also very involved with Pop Warner Football in North Brunswick as well.

Claire worked as a professional singer for many years and had a passion for Jazz. She also worked as an in home day care provider, while her children were young. This allowed her to be home with them. She later moved on to work as a Customer Service Representative for the Oticon Corporation in Somerset, NJ, where she retired in her early 70's. Claire enjoyed Giants football and Mets baseball. She was a big sports enthusiast. She loved the holidays, decorating and baking. She adored her family and was happiest when spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Claire is survived by her Son Frank Piazza and Daughter In Law Donna Piazza of Somerville NJ, her daughter Gina Piazza Hodes and husband Steve Hodes of Ringwood NJ. Grandchildren Jordan and Gianna Hodes of Ringwood NJ, Frankie Piazza of Somerville NJ and Amanda and Steve Brisson of Somerville NJ. Several cousins, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her Daughter Karen Piazza, Mother Angela Gluck, Father William Lester, Brothers Greg and Bob Lester, Sister Maureen Maloney and nephews Dan and Dave Krauszer.

A celebration of life service will be held for immediate family and close family friends. Condolences can be sent directly to the Hodes and Piazza Family homes.
