Concetta M. Weedo, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026, at the age of 89. A resident of Fairfield, NJ, she was born on April 18, 1937, in Jersey City, NJ to Vito & Angelina Vigilanti.
Concetta spent 39 dedicated years as a Claims Manager at Prudential Insurance Company, where she was cherished by her colleagues. After her retirement, she pursued her passions for reading, gardening, and cooking, yet her greatest joy was found in her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother Her love and involvement in their lives will be fondly remembered.
Beloved wife of the late Michael Weedo. Devoted mother of Michele Lepore & her husband Bernard and Gayle Tomaselli & her late husband Anthony. Cherished nanny of Claire Romano & her husband John, Michael Tomaselli & his wife Shelby, Kevin Lepore, Amanda Murchison & her husband Najee and AJ Tomaselli & his wife Graziana. Adored GiGi of Riley, Sloane, John Bernard and Charli. Dear sister of Frances Riccio, Maureen Katinas and the late Maria Marinelli. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Concetta was an active member of Notre Dame Church in North Caldwell, NJ, where she fostered her faith and connected with her community. Connie's family invites all who knew her to join them in celebrating her remarkable life and the love she shared with everyone around her.
Visitation will be held Wedesday 9-11:30AM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Rd., Fairfield. Funeral Mass Wednesday 12 PM at Notre Dame RC Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
