David Cattafi

David Cattafi, 80, of North Arlington, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024. Beloved husband of Lucille (nee Dito) Cattafi. Loving father of Lynne Cattafi and Paul Cattafi. Cherished grandfather of Matthew Paul Cattafi, Nicholas John Cattafi, Jackson Ryan David Schneider and Georgia Lou Schneider. Dear brother of Samuel Cattafi and Deborah Cattafi. Mr. Cattafi worked at the Sealand Corp. in Port Elizabeth for 42 years. He was the Pastor of Living Word Community Church in North Arlington for more than 10 years. David studied History in college, and he passed his love of the subject on to his children. David's magnetic personality and warmth drew people to him; everyone knew him, from the local banker to the wait staff at local eateries. He was loved and adored by his friends and family, and he will be greatly missed. Though his passing has left a hole in their lives, they know they will meet him again one day. Funeral Tuesday at 10AM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Entombment East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 & 6-8PM.
