Dennis Gazzillo

Dennis R. Gazzillo, a beloved father, grandfather, and dedicated friend, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, at the age of 82. He was born on September 21, 1943, in Jersey City, NJ, to Theresa & Pasquale Gazzillo. Dennis was a proud Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War. Dennis was an esteemed member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).

With a Master's Degree and over 30 years of experience in the procurement sector of the footwear industry, Dennis dedicated his career to quality and service at E.S. Originals in New York City before retiring in the early 2000s. His professional accomplishments were outmatched only by his passion for life outside of work.

Dennis embraced the joys of travel and had an extraordinary talent for cooking, often bringing family together with his culinary delights. However, his greatest joy came from his grandchildren: Brian, Ben, Maddie, Jackson, Lyla, Noah, Leo, and Logan, who were the shining lights of his life. He cherished each moment spent with them, making countless precious memories that will live on in their hearts.

Loving father of Nina Amidon & her husband Luke, Gregory Gazzillo & his wife Maria, Donald Gazzillo & his wife Christina, and Maria Lilie & her husband Jake. Dear brother of Nicholas V Gazzillo and Patricia Gazzillo Fredericks.

Visitation Friday 9-11AM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. A Mass honoring his memory will take place Friday 11:30AM at Queen of Peace R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Chapel Mausoleum.

In this time of remembrance, we rejoice in the legacy Dennis leaves behind. One of love, service, and an unwavering spirit. We invite all who knew him to join in honoring a remarkable man who touched the lives of so many.
