Domenica Giarrusso

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Domenica Giarrusso, who left this world on September 21, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on May 22, 1946, in Italy, Domenica came to embody the spirit of love and family throughout her life, particularly in her cherished home in Lyndhurst, NJ.

Domenica will be lovingly remembered as a devoted homemaker, whose passions included cooking, dancing, and crocheting. She had an extraordinary gift for bringing warmth and joy to those around her, and her delicious meals will be missed by all who had the pleasure of sharing them. Her enthusiasm for life and her generous spirit touched the hearts of many, and she will forever be remembered as a nurturing presence in her family and community. She was also a Cert for the township of Lyndhurst.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Carmelo Giarrusso, and their loving sons: John, Robert, Anthony and his wife Kathy, and Paul Giarrusso. Her legacy continues through her treasured grandchildren, Gianna and her husband Kevin, Anthony, Cassondra, Matteo, Isabella, and Joseph, as well as her great-grandchildren, Samuel, Harleigh, and Gracie. Domenica's family was her pride and joy, and she dedicated her life to ensuring they felt her unwavering love and support.

Friends & family will be received Friday, October 2nd, 4-8 PM. Funeral Saturday 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndurst. Funeral mass 10 AM, Sacred Heart Church. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum.
