Doris Catherine Almquist (nee Farrington), 86, of Manchester, NJ, formerly of Lyndhurst, on Sunday, October 30, 2011. Beloved wife of Olof Almquist. Devoted daughter of the late Darby & Delia Farrington. Loving mother of Darlene & her husband Joseph Miller, Bernadette Catanese, and Karl & his wife Valerie Almquist. Dear sister of Audrey McNaught. Caring sister-in-law of Marie Patnaude & Bernice Farrington. Cherished grandmother of Tracy & her husband Patrick Marton, Kerri Catanese & her fiance Daniel Taylor, Joseph Catanese, Kristopher Almquist and Erik Almquist. Special cousin of Catherine & her husband Samuel Giove. Doris is predeceased by her brothers John Farrington and Michael "Joe" Farrington & brother-in-law John McNaught. Mrs. Almquist was a cashier at the Shop-Rite of Lyndhurst for many years. Funeral Thursday at 10 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 11 AM Sacred Heart Church, 324 Ridge Rd, Lyndhurst, NJ. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
