Dorothy J. Snider

Dorothy J. Snider (nee Goeckeritz), 90, of Fairfield, New Jersey passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Herbert E. Snider, Jr. Loving mother of Elaine & her husband John Masciale, Diane & her husband Thomas Snider, and Glenn & his wife Cindy Snider. Cherished oma of David & his wife Julie, Elise & her husband Steve, Rachel, and Sarah. Adored great-grandmother of Alex. Mrs. Snider was graduated from the NJ College for Women (Douglas College) in 1948. She was a volunteer during the founding years of the Fairfield Public Library and active member of the Fairfield Reformed Church and their Eveready Circle. Dot was a longtime member of the Interstate Hiking Club and Cross Trails Squares. Funeral Saturday at 9:30AM at the Fairfield Dutch Reformed Church. Interment Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Friends will be received Friday 2 - 4pm & 7 - 9pm at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield.
