Elisabetta "Bettina" Lombardo

At the remarkable age of 97, Elisabetta "Bettina" Lombardo, a beloved matriarch and guiding light peacefully passed on, leaving behind a legacy rooted in love, resilience, and family. Born in Gasperina, Italy, she bravely immigrated to the United States at just 20 years old, embracing a new beginning with courage and determination. Through hard work, strength of character, and unwavering faith, she fulfilled the American dream she so deeply believed in.

She was kind, funny, and endlessly strong -- the heart of every gathering and the warmth in every room. A wonderful cook and loving personality, she nourished not only the bodies of those she loved, but their spirits as well. Family was her greatest joy and life's proudest achievement. Nothing meant more to her than caring for those she loved.

She is survived by her three children, Frank Lombardo, Rose Friedland & her husband Wayne, and John Lombardo, two grandchildren, Dominic Lombardo and Deanna DiAntonio & her husband Anthony, and four great-grandchildren who will forever carry her memory forward. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Joseph, and her beloved grandsons, Dustin J. & Daniel Friedland, and many siblings and cousins whom she now joins in heaven, reunited in peace.

Her life was a beautiful testament to perseverance, faith, the bond of family, and unconditional love. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know her.

All services will be held privately at the request of the family.
