Kennedy, Elizabeth "Betty"(nee Douglas), 86 of Fairfield, NJ on Friday February 6, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Duane Kennedy. Loving mother of Betty & her husband George Schmitt, JoAnn Frantz, Shirley Kennedy & her fiance Joe Penta. Cherished grandmother of Debbie & Diane Schmitt and Duane Frantz. Adored great-grandmother of Michael, Nicholad, Matthew, & Rebecca. Betty's family came to the United States on the second Mayflower in 1620. She worked as a machine operator for Boonton Molding for 20 years and was an active member of VFW Post # 7925. Betty enjoyed the outdoors especially tending to her garden.
