Elizabeth R. Schmitt

Elizabeth R. Schmitt (nee Raguseo), 63, of Rutherford, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016. Beloved wife of Frank Schmitt. Loving mother of Amy & her husband John Saal, Jeffrey Schmitt and Alison Schmitt. Devoted daughter of Eleanor (nee Allegretta) & the late Sergio Raguseo. Dear sister of Leonard & his wife Linda Raguseo and Conrad & his wife Joann Raguseo. Cherished grandmother of Noah & Ruby. Also survived by many loving extended family members. Mrs. Schmitt was the first East Rutherford Pre-K teacher. She taught Pre-K and Kindergarten for 27 years there. Funeral Mass Saturday 11AM St. Mary's R.C. Church. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 & 7-9PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
