It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Erica A. Soto, who passed away on September 10, 2026. Born on August 15, 1978, in Jersey City, NJ, Erica was a vibrant soul whose love for life was reflected in her many passions and the warmth she brought to those around her.

Erica was a dedicated professional known for her role as Head Dispatcher at Just Tanx in Kearny, NJ. She approached her work with a commitment that was matched only by her love for her family and friends. An engaging conversationalist, Erica cherished moments spent with family and friends. Family gatherings were a source of joy, where laughter was abundant and memories were made.

Outside of her professional life, Erica savored time spent outdoors, where she created lasting memories with her children. She had a true passion for music and could often be found enjoying concerts, writing heartfelt poems, or following her favorite sports teams. Her interests extended beyond her love for music; she had a particular fondness for oriental-inspired decor and treasured the conversations she shared with her late father, Luis A. Soto.

Throughout her life, Erica was known for her zest for holidays and the joy of good food. Her loving nature and enthusiasm for exploring the world with her children left an indelible mark on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Though her time on this earth has ended, Erica's spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who loved her. She is survived by her mother, Elsie M. Soto (nee Lambides); her sons, Justin A. Soto & his fiancée Alexandra Huguet, and Ayden Wigley; her aunts, Judy & her husband Ricardo, Sr., Sylvia, and Marilyn; as well as numerous cousins, including Melinda, Sophia, Miguel, Tiffany, Richard, Ricardo, Anthony, Nicky, and Ritchie; and her best friend, Dawn Shawkey. Pre-deceased by her younger son's godfather and close family friend, Joseph Jafraty.
