Esther Palladino

Esther Palladino, a beloved partner, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully in Winston-Salem, NC, on October 12, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on March 27, 1933, in New York, NY, Esther grew up in East Harlem where she developed a strong work ethic and a love for her community.

Esther dedicated much of her life to her career as a bookkeeper with Oneida in the consumer goods industry, where she was known for her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Her colleagues trusted her immensely, and she was respected and admired for her professionalism.

Beloved partner of Lorraine Mahler for 45 wonderful years. Loving mother of Michael and his wife Deborah Scerbo and Lori Rizzuto. Adored grandmother of Samuel and Elizabeth. Dear sister of the late Mary Fiorello, Angelo Palladino, Clara Palladino and Orlando "Chubby" Palladino. Also survived by a host of loving relatives including nieces & nephews Jimmy and Carmella Fiorello, Bobby and Suzanne Fiorello, Joseph Fiorello, Anthony and Janice Cocomello, Ronnie and Fran Cocomello, Richard and Carmella Palladino, Ronald and Galena Palladino, Frank and Debbie Palladino, Michele Spadavecchia, William Leigh and Summer Leigh. As well as her sisters-in-law Linda & her husband Frank Spadavecchia and Denise & her husband Bill Leigh.

Visitation Tuesday 3-7PM at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Rd., Fairfield, NJ. Interment of Ashes at St. Raymond's Cemtery at a later date.

Esther's warmth, kindness, and wisdom will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Esther's name, honoring her generous spirit.
