Evelyn Wassong

Wassong, Evelyn (nee: Roder), formerly of Jersey City, NJ passed away on December 23, 2014. Beloved mother of Wilfred & his wife Gina, Kenneth & his wife Roseann, Veronica & her husband Joseph Castellucci, Geraldine & her husband Robert Bender, Maureen & her husband Daniel Cappiello and the late Evelyn C. Devoted grandmother of 19 Grandchildren, 38 Great-grandchildren, and 2 Great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings. Evelyn was a Bookkeeper for Kress Department Store in Hoboken for many years. Funeral Saturday December 27, 2014 at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass will be offered at Sacred Heart R.C. Church at 10:00 am. Entombment to follow Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Friday, December 26, 2014, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
