Frances Cynthia Haag, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on March 22, 1954, in Jersey City, NJ to Francis Christopher & Helen June (nee Williams) Wey, Fran lived a life filled with compassion, dedication, and love, which she shared generously with everyone who crossed her path.

Fran attended Immaculate Conception High School in Lodi, where her remarkable journey began. Her caring nature blossomed early when she volunteered as a candy striper at Saddle Brook Hospital. She pursued her passion for caregiving by enrolling in nursing school at Felician University, ultimately starting her career at Saddle Brook Hospital as an instrument technician. She later became an operating room nurse, dedicating her heart and skills to countless patients until the hospital closed its doors.

Fran's life was enriched by her marriage to George Haag, the high school sweetheart who became her lifelong partner in adventure. Together, they built a beautiful family, welcoming their son Daniel, who became her pride and joy. Fran devoted herself to providing him with every opportunity and education possible, cherishing the bond they shared.

Even after the closure of Saddle Brook Hospital, Fran continued her career in various surgical practices, always bringing her steady care, kindness, and expertise wherever she worked. In addition to her professional commitments, she enjoyed playing softball and bowling in the hospital leagues, and her love for family vacations brought countless treasured memories.

Fran is remembered for her vibrant spirit and her ability to forge lasting friendships everywhere she went. She had a knack for celebrating life's moments, whether during lively gatherings or quiet phone calls filled with laughter and affection. She cherished the role of Grammy to her granddaughters, Blake and Skylar Haag, sharing adventures and creating unforgettable memories together.

Fran was the devoted sister of Lawrence Mazzoni, John Ruggiero, Michael Wey, Robert Wey, Randolph Wey, Theresa Wey-Nauta, and the late Charlene McCabe. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

Frances' life was a testament to the power of kindness, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Her legacy of love, generosity, and unwavering support will continue to inspire all who carry her memory.
