Francesco Turano

Turano, Francesco, 88, of Lyndhurst, NJ passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014. Beloved husband of 67 years to the late Concetta (nee Iuele) Turano. Loving father of Pasquale Turano & his wife Maria, Armando Turano & his wife Gina, Benito Turano & his wife Linda , Amalia DeSantis & her husband Pietro, Finita Celico & her husband Carlo, Maria (Turano) Zarro and the late Santo Turano. Caring brother of Carmine, Sal, Mario, Angelo, & Ida. Endeared grandfather of 17 grandchildren & 16 great-grandchildren. Francesco is predeceased by his parents Santo and Finita Turano. Francesco was a resident of Lyndhurst since 1971. He worked for J. Josephson Inc. and was a self-employed mason. Funeral Saturday at 9:00AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass 10:00AM Queen of Peace R.C. Church, North Arlington. Entombment to follow Holy Cross Mausoleum. Friends will be received Friday 3-9PM.
