It is with sadness we announce the passing of Frank Cassanelli who left us on June 25, 2025 at the age of 64.
Frank began his life in 1961 in Hoboken, New Jersey with his parents Angelo & Lucia. He was their first born son and years later was joined by his four siblings, Dominick, Julio, Lucyanne and Michelle.
Frank grew up in Weehwawken and made so many friends along the way. He was a fun loving, adventurous kid. Frank just loved to cause a little mischief and enjoy life.
In 1981, Frank met the love of his life, Lucia La Susa and since that moment, he never left her side. She was everything to him. They shared a love of a lifteime and made so many beautiful memories along the way. In 1984, Frank and Lucia were married and became partners for life. The welcomed their beautiful little girl, Kristina in 1985 and two years later, their son and Frank's best buddy, Frankie, Jr. was born.
Frank loved his family more than anything and was happy to welcome his son-in-law, Michael, and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth, to the family. He had three beautiful grandchildren to whom he as the most amazing grandfather. He absolutely adored Vincent, Francesca and Giuliana and spent the early days of his retirement enjoying every minute with them. Frank was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, nephew and friend.
Frank was a woodworker by trade and a true craftsman. He worked hard to support his family for 41 years.
Frank was loved by every single person he ever met. He always had a smile on his face and love in his heart. He would do anything for anyone. In his free time, Frank loved spending time outdoors listening to music, especially Pink Floyd. He enjoyed cooking for his wife and family and spending time with loved ones.
Frank will be sorely missed, but will always be in our hearts. It will be hard to let him go, but he will live on through his children and grandchildren.
Please join the family in celebrating Frank's life on Friday from 2-5PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Rd. Memorial Service Friday 4:30PM.
