Varsalona, Frank, 90, of Jackson, NJ on Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Beloved husband of 68yrs to Marie (nee Esposito) Varsalona. Loving father of Vincent & his wife Lanie Varsalona, Rocky & his wife Elaine Varsalona, Joyce & her husband Rick Madore & the late Michael Varsalona . Dear brother of the late Peter Varsalona, Mildred Maggio, & Helen Arnone. Cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren & 15 great-grandchildren. Mr. Varsalona was born in Jersey City & is formerly of Lyndhurst. He worked at the Meadowlands Racetrack in the mail department & for Finest Foods in Jersey City. Mr. Varsalona is a WWII Army Air Corp veteran & a member of the Lyndhurst Elks. Funeral Saturday at 10AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass 11AM Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
