George A. Rago

Rago, George A., 80, of Rutherford, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann Rago (nee Ciandella). Loving father of Joan Marie & her husband Rich Schambach, Judy Fitzpatrick, Joseph & his wife Barbara Rago and Jason Rago & his girfriend Lauren Lettieri. Dear brother of Josephine Guidetti and the late Rose, Rocky, and Edward Rago. Cherished grandfather of Sarah, Lindsay, Billy, Jaclyn, Joseph Jr., & Michael. Mr. Rago was a Army veteran serving from 1954-1956. George enjoyed his work as a plumber for Rago Rooter, but his real passion was his family. He was a family oriented man who always put his wife, children and grandchildren's needs before his own. Memorial service Tuesday at 7:15 PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Friends will be received Tuesday 4-8 PM.
