Georgeos Christoforos Kyriacou, 84, of Morristown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

Georgeos was the beloved father of Christopher, Dean, and Stefanie Chaplauske and her husband, Rich. He was a devoted and proud Papou to Caitlyn, Maddison, Nickolas, Zoie, Krystiana, Matthew, and Alexander, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.

He was predeceased by his loving wife, Anthoula (Nicolaou) Kyriacou; his parents, Christos and Lambrini (Peponi) Kyriacou; and his brother, Gus.

A proud Army veteran, Georgeos served his country as a medic and earned recognition as a decorated marksman. Following his military service, he enjoyed a long career as a sales professional in the electrical supply industry.

Georgeos was a devoted father and grandfather whose kindness, warmth, and generous spirit touched everyone he met. An avid sports fan, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren while cheering on his favorite teams, including the New York Mets, the Raiders, the Jets, the Giants, and the Devils. While he enjoyed watching professional sports, nothing brought him greater happiness than watching his grandchildren compete in their own athletic events and celebrating their academic accomplishments. His grandchildren were truly the center of his world.
