Gerald Vitale, 72, of Fairfield, New Jersey passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022. Beloved husband of Carol Vitale. Loving father of Gerald Jr. & his wife Lyndsay Vitale, Jill Vitale, and Jenna & her husband James Messina. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Gerald, Max & Harlow. Adored brother of Charles Vitale, Anthony Vitale, and the late Phyllis Vukelich. Dear brother-in-law of Kathy, Carlotta & Peter. Jerry was a Scientist at Novartis for over 30 years. After his retirement, he joined Allerton Pest Control where he worked for 6 years. Friends will be received Wednesday 10AM - 12:30PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Service Wednesday 12:30PM. Private entombment to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
