Gerard Jay Altamore

Gerard (Jay) Altamore, 69, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023. Beloved husband of Marian Ann (nee Breese) Altamore. Devoted son of the late Anthony John & Anna Marie Altamore. Loving father of Nicole & her husband Ryan St. Germain and Lisa Altamore & her partner Chris McGuire. Cherished grandfather of Nathaniel & Charlotte St. Germain. Dear brother of Anthony & his wife Jackie Altamore, John & his wife Ceil Altamore, James Altamore, Christopher Altamore and brother-in-law of Janet & her husband John Caruso, Lori Lemire, Karen Breese, Robert Breese, Frank Verbovsky and the late Patricia Verbovsky and Daniel Lemire. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, greatnieces and greatnephews. Mr. Altamore was a member of IATSE Union (Local 632). He loved fishing, BBQ, gardening and a fine scotch. He was a voracious reader who relished the role of "grill master" at every party. Funeral Service Thursday 12PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst.
