Giovanni "John" Alfonso

Alfonso, Giovanni "John", 76, of Lyndhurst, NJ passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Peare) Alfonso. Loving father of John & his wife Carolyn Alfonso and Lorraine & her husband Kevin Fowler. Cherished grandfather of Nicole, Anthony, Ryan, Danielle & Matthew. Dear brother of the late Anthony & Dominick Alfonso and Grace Caruso. Mr. Alfonso is an Army veteran having served from 1960 to 1964. John was a senior staff engineer for PSE&G for 42 years. He is a former president of the Queen of Peace High School Father's Club. Funeral Tuesday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass 10AM Queen of Peace R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
