Harold Joseph Molloy

Harold Joseph Molloy, known to family and friends as (Hammer), passed away on September 17, 2026, in Jersey City, New Jersey, at the age of 69.

Born on August 6, 1957, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Harold lived his life with a steady spirit, a generous heart, and a deep devotion to the people he loved. He was a loving, friendly, and thoughtful man whose presence brought comfort and warmth to those around him.

Harold was the proud owner of Molloy Roofing LLC and as a Master Roofer, earning respect through years of hard work, skill, and dedication. He built his career with integrity and commitment, and he took pride in providing for his family through honest labor and a strong work ethic.

Harold was a devoted family man whose greatest joy came from the time he spent with his loved ones and especially his grandchildren. He cherished every minute of his time with his grandchildren. He was also a die-hard New York Yankees fan, and he enjoyed following the team with enthusiasm.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara French; his son, Harold A. Molloy; his daughter, Lisa A. Molloy; his daughter, Britney Rosenblatt and her spouse Ted; his sister, Noreen Molloy; his brother, Robert Chinery, Jr.; his sister, Catherine Chinery; his grandson, Colin Carr; his granddaughter, Julia Dalton; and his grandson, Kieran Dalton. He also leaves behind many others who loved him and will carry his memory forward with affection and gratitude.

Harold was preceded in death by his father, Robert Chinery, Sr.; his brother, Richard Molloy; his sister, Barbara D'Agosta; and his sister, Patricia Chinery. He was part of a large and loving family, and his life was shaped by the bonds of family that remained important to him throughout his years.

Harold will be remembered for the love he gave, the work he accomplished, and the steady presence he offered to those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will forever remember his thoughtful nature, his friendly manner, and the love he shared so freely.
