Irene Whipple (nee Hansen), 81, of Lyndhurst, NJ on Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Life long companion of Frank Jiosi. Loving sister of Edna Blakeslee. Dear aunt of William Blakeslee, Ellen & Bob Howard, Susan & Mike Cobb, 8 grand nieces & nephews and 5 great-grand nieces & nephews. Mrs. Whipple was President of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 139. Funeral Saturday at 8:30 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 9:30 AM St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Interment Hillside Cemetery. Friends will be received Friday 4-8 PM.
