James E. Castle

James E. Castle, 86, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017. Beloved husband of Patricia Castle (nee Morrisroe). Loving father of James & his wife Felicia, Richard & his wife Mary, Patti and the late Diane Castle. Dear brother of the late Edward, Eleanor, Catherine & Raymond, and brother-in-law of Kathleen & Dolores. Cherished Pop Pop of Sabrina, Jenna, Thomas, Madalyn, Luciano, Mia & Nicolas. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, & friends. Mr. Castle served in the Air Force for 4 years from 1951-1955. Jim was an elevator mechanic for 25 years at Otis Elevator before suffering a traumatic injury to his arm nearly ending his career. After an impressive recovery he ended his career as an Elevator Inspector for the Township of Lyndhurst. He was a Little League and Football coach in Lyndhurst and was on the Board of Directors for Kaleidoscope of Hope for Ovarian Cancer. Funeral Wednesday 9:30AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10:30AM Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 & 6-9PM.
