James Komisar

James Komisar, 76, of Jersey City, NJ on Sunday, July 24, 2011. Mr. Komisar was born March 16, 1935 in Jersey City. He enjoyed going to Atlantic City and spending time with his many friends at the Senior Center at Muhlenberg Garden Apartments. He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Komisar, brothers Paul Thomas and Edward Komisar and his sister Mae Passvanti. He is survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews along with two sisters-in-law Dolores Komisar of North Arlington and Dolores Komisar of Toms River. Memorial mass 10 AM Wednesday at St. Paul of the Cross R.C. Church, Jersey City. Arrangements under the direction of Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Paul of the Cross Parish, 156 Hancock Avenue, Jersey City NJ 07307.
